Grateful to have had this experience to actually understand the "Brands DNA" while witnessing the brands internal transition. It was truly a blessing to have been apart of the brand during this historical time.
This was the first step into the industry under the creative direction of Romeo Tanghal. While being a Design Intern, the team allowed myself to take several responsibilities from creating sale reports based on retailers worldwide, to tech packing several printable's, and even giving myself the opportunity to create a new graphic for a 6 panel hat released during the Summer 2018 collection. Due to this experience learning several skills, the team gave myself a strong foundation to build off of.
"Torch" 6 Panel Curved Visor
The graphic was made during May 2017 during the design team ideation time line for the Summer 2018 Collection. With the guidance of Kevin Baker, he gave me an opportunity to create a new graphic based on the design team mood board which focus on 1980's Japanese graphic design.
This was left behind on the server when I finished the internship in June 2017 which the next following year was a great surprise seeing it on hufworldwide.com and in retailers unexpectedly.
Didn't get the chance to name it, but assuming they just passed the torch... THANK YOU!

Had the opportunity to assist the Footwear design team by creating a new color way for Summer 2018. Under the creative direction of Sung Choi and Hayden Beiner, we set fourth to designing this "Blue Night" color way based on the color palette that the team had already developed.
